Achievements

ESE’s achievements are best understood not as isolated awards or publications, but as evidence of a department that has built unusual breadth and depth across multiple fronts. Over the last decade, the department has created foundational and translational capability across semiconductors, quantum technologies, VLSI and AI hardware, healthcare electronics, communication systems, and cyber-physical infrastructure. Faculty members have received major national and international recognitions, secured substantial research funding, built laboratories and facilities, developed patents and prototypes, trained strong students, and played leading roles in national missions and industry-facing programs.
